65. Semper P-aid

Coasties can’t seem to catch a break. Already ridiculed by every branch of the actual military, they now have spent weeks without pay or promise that it’ll end soon. Lords of 12 miles from the coast, they save people from storms, make drug busts, and do it all while still remaining extremely relaxed for the most part. You’ll be hard pressed to find a coastie who is high strung and pays attention to every one of the many playful insults thrown their way. 

Perhaps they will break and end up selling all the drugs they’ve confiscated over time to get their people paid. However, Coasties, we at Doerr Comics want you to know that we care and want you to be able to feast on more than just ramen for a month.
