You don’t know, you weren’t even there! Every story you tell is a bit exaggerated, it just depends on who you tell. How could they really know?
The classic humble brag of an aviator. “Yeah, landing is pretty hard and stressful, but it’s not that bad.” “When you fly, a lot of things are happening and it’s really stressful, but you get used to it. No big deal.” Of course, you can always make your job sound kinda cool to different audiences and they may actually believe every word you say. Just hope that you don’t come across someone who can call you out on your BS.
