3. Kooky Comm Calls

We’ve all been here… #StupidSwitchActivate

No matter how much you prepare to say the right thing over the radio, it just doesn’t come out the way you wanted it to. It can be anything from the person you’re talking to said something SLIGHTLY different and totally threw you off or noticing your scan dropped somewhere on the instruments and you forgot what to say. Even better, words are coming out, but somewhere along the way you forgot English. It’ll end up with either with your instructor correcting you aggressivelly or taking over comms. Either way, it leaves you feeling useless and wondering why something as simple as speaking is so difficult. 

Don’t worry though, it’s normal. With more practice and experience, you can expect what kind of calls to recieve and what responses to give. Try doing comms in foreign countries where English is not their first language.
